 Fuel Guage problem

PostSubject: Fuel Guage problem   Sat Aug 22, 2009 5:50 pm

car ran out of gas today, for the 3rd time and with the guage reading 1/4, is there a way to reset it so it reads more accurate? disconnect the battery for 20 mins or something??

I bet your sending unit is messed up sounds like a warrenty issue

I dont think we have a warrenty, we bought the car "used" with 2900 miles I will have to check, worst case Ill pull the tank myself and replace it,"F" the dealership Evil or Very Mad

Good luck with make sure you empty the gas tank first. If not that tank is going to be really heavy.
